I've already taken a carburetor off and taking it apart so I can make the video quicker but you take it apart take the throttle cable off and the choke cable off and just disconnect these two screws from there, and there's another one right there but once you get that off then you take these four screws that I've already loosened them so that they'll come out so it saves time.

alright sometimes this would get stuck because it's been on there for a while so what I do is I take something that's got some kind of rubber handle on it and tap it a couple times on both sides and then this should pop off most carburetors are the same. so cleaning them is going to be about the same with all of them but first what you want to do that's not on right.

that's what you want to do is you want to take there's a little pin a dowel pin right here that you want to take out and that's going to take your float off and this whole assembly.

this whole float and there's a little needle valve in there as well and get close to, that so you can see over here there's a little needle valve. a little deal right here that that goes in here to stop the gas plug it out that's what the float does the float goes down and up to let gas in and out.

next you want to take your main jet loose right to the side and then you take your idle jet both of those out some people take a wire brush I don't know if you can really see the holes on here that's taken forever anyway some people take a wire brush and go down through that that hole right there and some people take a wire brush and go through all those little holes out there I've got some micro bits.

you can order them off eBay for maybe seven dollars for a whole set but they're just called micro bits and they're actually perfect for these because you can like drill these out but you don't want to make them any bigger than what they already are plus you can go through those I've already done it on these.

so I'm not gonna have to do that and then most what you do next is you just take you some carpet cleaner doesn't matter what brand must I mean you know most people have good preference but you spray it through all these holes spray it around through here definitely want to spray it in the guest intake hole right there you spray it through all these through the main jet you want to be able to see a clear visible light through your jet here hole that's a light see if you can see it yeah you want to be able to see light through that if you can't then that means it's clogged up and it's not going to run after you do that put it back together the same way you took it apart .
