Yamaha FZ750, the first bike with DOHC 5-Valve in the world

Yamaha FZ750 introduced for the first time in Cologne, Germany when IFMA, the world's greatest motorshow event was held in September 1984. This superbike on that era adopting the very first engine breaktrough technology, there's DOHC 5-Valves bringing the new soul and power of superbike production.

5 valve on the Yamaha FZ750 engine are consist of 3 intake valve and 2 exhaust. So with that technology, gained  such powerful engine and improve the exhaust efficiency.

The following Engine design of Yamaha FZ750 also patched to FZ250, FZX750 , FZ400, and some other Yamaha sportbikes on that era. Genesis series really took the changes of Riding experience, bringing the new harmony between motorcycle and the rider.
