The Yamaha XVZ 1300
series of cruisers begins its history in 1983 and the launch of the Yamaha XVZ 1200 Royal Star Venture Touring Model. In 1986, the motorcycle was updated to the Yamaha Venture Royale (receives an engine for 1294 cc) and is unchanged until 1993. In 1996, the classic Yamaha XVZ 1300 Royal Star and its touring equipment Yamaha XVZ 1300 Royal Star Tour were offered.
In 1999, instead of the classic Royal Star (sold until 2001), the second generation Yamaha XVZ 1300 Royal Star Venture appeared, manufactured until 2013 - the motorcycle did not become a continuation of the "gold-shaped" Yamaha Venture Royale, but proposed a more "iron" concept.
The basis of the XVZ1300 series was a V-shaped 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a volume of 1294 cc. (since 1986), giving out 75-97 hp. power and 112-115 Nm of torque. The engine from the XVZ1200 model (1983-1985) was also installed on the Yamaha V-max 1200 model.

- Yamaha XVZ1300 Royal Star Tour Deluxe - trimmed "Venture" - no fairing, radio and built-in plastic wardrobe trunks. Available since 2005.
