Yamaha XTZ660 Tenere Was made for dual purpose, I was made earlier and make a hit then Yamaha XTZ750 Made later to give the larger engine than its predecessor.

These XTZ Series was sold in the end of 1980's, they are using the 5-Valve heads that is the latest Yamaha engine design that time. The engine was Air cooled and it has a Solid Protective Guard to keep the engine safe from the damage probability.

Not only the engine, XTZ750 Also has Cover guard for the disk brake. it's pretty functional for the normal road but it's block the air for cooling when it used to ride the downhill.

But Overall there are many people satisfied and they said that this Yamaha XTZ750 Is really Comfort, and also the Fuel consumption is a long range that XTZ750 Tenere has a big Fuel Tank 26 litres.

The Yamaha XTZ750 Discontinued in 1996.
