Yamaha unveils new 2020 YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M

The engine was seriously redesigned and the chassis upgraded. The 998-cc inline 4-cylinder engine block itself remained the same, the main changes affected the block head. Replaced - camshafts, cams, rocker arms. And at the same time they delivered a new, modified Bosch injection system, and a new air filter housing. All, of course, for the sake of increasing power.
A radically new style of motorcycle - imbued with the spirit of MotoGP. And the bike itself is equipped with as many as seven electronic control systems - and in fact demonstrates readiness for the third decade of the 21st century. The 2020 models also featured an updated engine brake management system Engine Brake Management (EBM). It allows you to choose and configure three options for their work - depending on external conditions. And you can select and configure through the mobile application.
