This model adopts Yamaha’s new “YCC-I” electronic control intake, which has been developed under the auspices of G.E.N.I.C.H. The ideal technique uses proprietary electronic control technology and is now being used in practical terms to improve machine performance.
Another new feature is the rear frame with a lightweight magnesium material that allows it to be applied to motorcycle production and this unique technology was adopted for the first time by Yamaha. By contributing to the need for more mass concentration, 2008 Yamaha R6 is hoped that this will help take sport riding performance to the next level.
