1983 YZ250 Yamaha Old Dirtbike
Yamaha began Ironing Last Year's 1983 YZ250 Design. The Radiators were moved into the Frame and the Shock was moved halfway to the Swivel Arm. These small Changes continued in 1984 and 1985, but Yamaha was pretty much immersed in Snake oil, with Features such as the BASS valve on the Shock and the boost bottle.

That last Year, the yellow and black Color Scheme disappeared, and from there, the American Models were white, just like their European Counterparts.
