1995 Yamaha YZF 750 R Genesis Origin
The Yamaha YZF750 is a Motorcycle produced in two Forms from 1993 to 1998, the R standard and the Single-seat SP approval model. The 750R was the only version Sold in the US. Mechanically, the following SP differed from the R: Adjustable swivel carmout swing position, 39 mm Keihin FCR flat layer Gasizer, a lower Screen, a detachable Rear frame and a single Seat.
Main Drive, Gearbox and Final Transmission Ratios are different on the SP. The Rear Suspension is different and greatly improved for the previous SP, but the 1996 R also had the back Shock Of Ohlin. The SP was the Approval model for the Yamaha YZF750 for the Superbike World Championship before the Rules changed to allow 1000cc bikes. The Bike won the Suzuka endurance race 8 hours four Times between 1987 and 1996.
